Description
This is a unique fern as the fronds are made up of slender and widely-spaced pinnae, giving this a light and airy appearance. The ‘Linearis Polydactyla’ is upright in habit, with slightly arching tips, and the fronds are mid-green in colour throughout spring, summer and autumn.
If you are trying to create a textural bed or border then this works really alongside Dryopteris ‘Lepidota Cristata’ as the two ferns are both free-moving and light.
Common Name: Male fern ‘Linearis Polydactyla’
