Tell Me More…
A trio of tropical South American blooms which are certain to stop you in your tracks with their huge, highly fragrant blooms. Sure to bring delight to you, your friends and your neighbours as well as providing valuable nectar to passing pollinators. Flowers, up to 30cm long, erupt from decorous buds commencing in summer and continuing into autumn. Brugmansia are also known commonly as ‘Angels Trumpets’, and, with the fanfare they create, it is easy to see why. Vigorous and fast growing, Brugmansia are perfect grown in a large pot and make a superb centrepiece in a border; though bear in mind plants will need to be moved or protected over winter. Your collection comprises sanguinea ‘Red-Yellow’; ‘White’; and new for 2024, ‘Yellow’. All reach a height of 2-3.5 metres and spread out as much as 2.4 metres – offering generous, impactful presence. Bolder Brugmansia Collection prefers moist, well-drained soil of any type except clay. Plant in sun or partial shade. Warm, temperate, ever
