Our delicious Rhubarb collection is a great choice when growing your own fruit. Used in many classic British summertime desserts, the humble rhubarb plant is a popular choice from novice to expert gardeners. With their rosy stalks of firm, tartly sweet flesh topped with bushy green foliage, why not try adding them into a crumble with other fruit favourites! All three varieties can be harvested from the beginning of spring and are best suited to sunny or partially shaded positions in well drained, fertile soil. Our collection includes three each of these well-loved rhubarb varieties; Timperley, Suttons Seedless and Victoria. First grade, open ground crowns supplied.

Rhubarb is the easiest yet most rewarding fruit to grow in the garden. Our strong crowns should be planted 75cm apart. After the first season they will be ready to crop. Divide every 4/5 years and give your surplus crowns to friends or familyPlant in any reasonable garden soil that is well drained. Plant at approx 75cm apart and deep enough so that the tip of the crown is at soil level.
