You may know Bergenia as ‘Elephants Ears’, due to their large oval leaves… and Bergenia ‘Diamond Drops’ does indeed have rather spectacular ‘ears’. The foliage on this variety is a lush green with added hues of rose and bronze in the autumn and winter. From March to May tall stems appear adorned with white, bell-shaped blooms for added interest. Bergenias have become fashionable as a cut flower and ‘Diamond Drops’ will not disappoint whether in border, pot, or vase. Bergenias are minimal maintenance, evergreen, timeless and stylish.
