Sweet Pea Knee High Mix provides a bushy selection of fragrant blooms throughout summer and into early autumn! A great way of growing carpets of colour through your seasonal displays, appearing in shades of vivid reds, pinks, purples, and more. Can also be trained up trellises or canes for a glorious vertical garden. Sow seeds from October to November or January to April, depending on when you’d like them to appear (eg, sow seeds from Oct for a spring display or Jan for a summer display).

Growing at a glance…
Start seeds undercover in pots, thinning to individual plants when large enough (5-7cm). To plant, cover seeds with an inch of soil. Soaking seeds in water overnight can aid germination, although this is not essential. Keep soil moderately moist during germination. Pinch the top of the growing shoot out when 2 inches high to encourage stronger side shoots. Transplant when young seedlings are about 2-3cm once the danger of frost has passed. Space 15-30cm apart. Provide netting or a trellis for support when plant is 10-15cm tall. Do not ingest seeds as they are toxic.
