Description
The ‘Kingston Black’ is a fantastic cider apple variety for making a bittersweet vintage cider. The apples are grown solely for their juice and cannot be eaten fresh. The tree itself has a vigorous, upright growth habit and it also features a bloom of lightly scented flowers in spring. The leaf colour is green in summer and fades to orange and red in autumn, before falling.
