- The eye-catching, fragrant flowers, which comprise four “paint-splattered” petals arranged in a cross, bloom between December and February, providing a welcome jolt of colour in the drab winter months
- Train this evergreen clematis up against a south-facing wall in a sheltered position, or make it the star of your patio by planting in a container with an obelisk
