Tell Me More…
Geums are a popular plant, especially with garden designers and you will see them in most show gardens. Abundant, frilly, double blooms naturalise for ground covering, scented or semi-evergreen, pollinator-enticing interest. The three varieties in this Brilliant Geum Collection emerge in the spring sunshine and continue through to early autumn. In this collection you receive: Geum Firestarter – exciting new, fiery red, semi-double with ruffled flowers; Geum Orange Pumpkin – vibrant orange, compact, flamboyant, and highly floriferous; and Geum Petticoats Peach – ruffled peach petals, gather around a yellow centre like a frothy, frilly skirt. Geum also look sensational in floral arrangements, with the blooms in this collection staggered across April to September each year – giving six months of fantastic flowers for borders, vases and container planting. Prized by pollinators and full of sunny hues to warm up areas in need of a colour injection. Plants in the Brilliant Geum Collection prefer a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy and hardy herbaceous perennials which reach a height and spread of 20-50cm.
