Tell Me More…
All fired up and ready to go, Kniphofia Pyromania Backdraft will blaze a trail of glory. Wider than usual poker-like flowerheads are formed by intense red-orange tubular blooms, which change to yellow, giving a dramatic two-tone effect. Reliably reblooming, Kniphofia Pyromania Backdraft will give you a constant summer supply of stems to cut and bring into your home from June to October. Unlike other Kniphofias, the attractive grass-like foliage stays neat and tidy, looking good throughout the season and is deer and rabbit resistant. An excellent addition to wildlife gardens where bees, butterflies and other friendly pollinators will revel in the nectar-rich feast, Kniphofia Pyromania are also happy growing in coastal areas, unbothered by salty sea winds. Drought tolerant once established, Kniphofia Pyromania Backdraft prefers to be gown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Expect a mature height and spread 90cm.
