Growing Information
Astrantias are happiest in dappled shade (but tolerate almost full shade to full sun) in moist but well-drained, humus rich soil. Little maintenance is required – the plant can be cut back after the flowers have faded to tidy and encourage a fresh flush of leaf growth, or the seed heads left standing until winter to provide continued interest.
