Juniperus Chinensis ‘Stricta’ is a fantastic narrow conifer that forms a manageable specimen tree for smaller gardens and requires almost no maintenance. It is grown for its narrow, conical habit, which adds evergreen structure and formality to the garden all year. When mature, this upright Chinese Juniper has aromatic grey-green foliage and peeling bark. Height: 2.5m (8′). Spread: 60cm (2′).
Growing Information
Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
