Sow February/March in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse in good quality, moist compost at approx. 20-25C, 6mm deep. Germination normally takes 3-6 weeks. As the seedlings develop, transplant them singly into 7.5cm pots. Re-pot to 15cm as the plants develop. Plant out in a very sheltered position, after carefully acclimatising to outdoor conditions, for flowering the following year.
