Philadelphus ‘Minnesota Snowflake’ is a stunning variety of the much-loved Mock Orange. From May to July, the cascading branches are smothered in racemes of fully double, dazzling white blooms with pointed petals that are visible against the deep green leaves. The blooms boast a heavenly ‘orange blossom’ fragrance which fills the air on a warm evening. This robust deciduous shrub is ideal for a semi-shaded spot and will grow well in all soil types, including heavy clay and chalk. ‘Minnesota Snowflake’ will swiftly form an excellent architectural shrub for mixed borders. Growing Information
Grow Philadelphus plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Mock Orange plants at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
