Helenium Sahin’s Early is a tall, daisy-like perennial whose fiery orange and yellow petals contrast dramatically with its striking brown centre. A hardy and vigorous plant, Heleniums are easy to grow and flower from June through to September, creating a vivid and cheerful display late into the season. Winner of a RHS Award of Garden Merit, Helenium Sahin’s Early grows to a height of 1.2m and spread of 40cm, and is highly recommended for drier areas. Supplied as first grade loose roots.

Growing at a glance…
Apply mulch in winter to help protect against the cold. Deadhead regularly to promote new flowers. Suitable for planting in all types of well drained garden soil. They work best once planted in sunny location. To plant loose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for 1-3 hours before planting, then dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
