Narrow-petalled, star-shaped flowers in a festive mix of red and golden-yellow. The heat-tolerant plants produce masses of long-lasting blooms throughout summer. Height 40-60cm (16-24″). Easy to grow. HHA – Half-hardy annual.

Sow in trays on a windowsill or in a greenhouse onto a quality, moist seed compost at about 18-21°C (65-70°F). Do not exclude light. Germination 20-25 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle 5cm (2″) apart in trays and grow on. Plant out after acclimatising to outside conditions about 20cm (8″) apart. Alternatively, sow outdoors in a well-prepared seed bed in May to July for early flowering the following year.
