Clearance Griselinia littoralis ‘Apple Green’ Green Horizon New Zealand Privet

‘Apple Green’ Griselinia is a a dense, upright, evergreen shrub with leathery, light-green, broadly oval leaves, with a lustrous glossy appearance – basically the bush is coloured like a Granny Smith Apple, hence the name. In Spring it bears inconspicuous, yellow-green flowers followed, in Autumn, by purple fruits. Also know as New Zealand Privet, this is great as a feature in a mixed border, or used for a hedge 1.2 to 4 metres tall depending how well you keep it trimmed, it is very tolerant, growing well even in exposed and coastal locations. Green Horizon is particularly dense variety with wonderful deep green foliage. Plant at a 50cm spacing for hedges. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
