Hibiscus syriacus ‘Magenta Chiffon’ is yet another knockout variety from the Chiffon range. Stems bare beautiful red-pink, double flowers not to dissimilar to a classic rose plant. Foliage is deep green, lobed and deciduous, which although falls through winter looks spectacularly fresh and dense through the seasons. Hardy and bringing colour to late summer borders, Hibiscus syriacus ‘Magenta Chiffon’ bridges the gap between seasons as a neat an upright hedging shrub. Height: 2.5m (8’). Spread: 1.5m (5’).
Growing Information
Grow Hibiscus on rich fertile, reliably moist, well drained soil, in full sun. When growing hibiscus plants in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3.
