Description
A lower growing and more compact member of the Ellwood clan, with feathery, close packed blue-green foliage making it a neat conifer with a uniform column and vertical lines. It is the best variety for a restricted site and makes a pretty vertical accent in a small scale planting, though you need to see it from top to bottom to appreciate it. It would be a suitable candidate for the rock garden.
Common Name: Lawson Cypress
Latin Name: Chamaecyparis lawsoniana ‘Ellwood’s Pillar’
