Rose of the Year 2021!
Voted Rose of the Year 2021, Belle de Jour is a beautiful Floribunda variety. Beautiful yellow buds with flashes of flame open to reveal eye-catching golden-yellow blooms with masses of petals. Each bloom releases an intense fragrance with hints of vanilla and apricots.
Belle de Jour has excellent disease resistance and is a vigorous growing variety. Yellow blooms amongst glossy green foliage will stand out in beds and borders, patio pots and containers. Flowers June-October. Height 100-150cm; spread 90-100cm.
Growing Information
Plant bareroot roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
