Our Onion & Shallot Duo contains a versatile pair of white and shallot onions along with the added upgrade option of garlic to keep your cupboards stocked with these easy to grow vegetables throughout summer and winter. The collection comprises:
- Onion ‘Sturon’ – A well known onion variety, renowned for its flavour. It produces round, straw coloured onions that are plump and medium in size. Perfect for any meal you wish to add them to. It will keep well through the winter due to its thin neck, meaning it will remain in great condition right through until February/ March time. (250g).
- Shallot ‘Red Sun’ – One of the best red shallots on the market, ‘Red Sun’ has been gaining traction with UK gardeners, no doubt for it’s solid yields and great flavour for salads, dressings, cooking, pickling and much more in the kitchen. Store for long periods of time.. (400g).
- Plus, there’s nothing more satisfying that a plate full of your own ‘home grown’ veggies!
