Sow February-April under glass or May-July outdoors. Flowers April-June the following year.

Sow direct May-July into finely raked, moist soil covering the seed lightly. Thin seedlings by degrees to 23cm (9″) apart in Autumn. Alternatively, sow in a greenhouse from February-April at 13-18°C (55-65°F) in a finely sieved, moist compost. Do not exclude light. Transplant seedlings to grow on prior to planting out in autumn.
