Growing Information
Sow on a windowsill or one seed per 75mm (3″) pot in a greenhouse at approximately 20-25°C (68-78°F) using a good quality compost. Germination 7-10 days. Cover seeds with 19mm (¾”) compost. Grow on, planting out when risk of frost has passed, 60cm (24″) between plants each way. Can also be sown direct outside in May, two seeds per station, thinning to strongest seedling. Grows best in rich, moisture retentive soil in a sunny position. Water and harvest regularly to encourage continuous cropping. Sowing ? Cropping: 10-14 weeks.
