Cercis canadensis ‘Rising Sun’ is a compact, dense, rounded, deciduous tree with attractive heart shaped foliage. The leaves emerge burnt-apricot coloured, maturing to yellow then bright green through the summer, before turning yellow and orange in autumn. Abundant lavender coloured flowers appear in spring on the bare branches.
