Description
Fagus sylvatica is a handsome, large and realiable tree which develops into a beautiful bell shape as it matures. It has simple green leaves which shine in spring and turn a beautiful bronze and yellow colour in the autumn. When grown as a tree, it produces fruit, called beech mast, as well as crisp russet brown autumn leaves.
