This traditional French pickling cucumber is very productive and produces many short, cylindrical fruits. They can be used fresh or pickled by bottling in vinegar for delicious cornichons over a long period.

Sowing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 18-21°C (65-70°F) using a good quality compost. Ideally sow one seed per 7.5cm (3″) pot to save root disturbance when planting out after frost risk has passed. Cover the seeds with 13mm ( 1?2″) sieved compost. Germination 7-10 days. Grow on and plant out 60cm (24″) apart.
Water and feed regularly during periods of dry weather.
