Honeysuckle ‘Hall’s Prolific’ is a prolific climber, as the name suggests, covering walls, fences, pergolas and garden structures with its abundance of honey-scented flowers in summer. Masses of blooms emerge that bees and pollinators love. Japanese Honeysuckle that ages from white blooms to butter yellow, followed by black berries that birds feast on. Growing Information
Plant honeysuckle against a suitable, sturdy support such as trellis or strong wires attached to walls and pergolas, in fertile, moist, free draining soil. Poor soils can be improved by adding plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a position in sun or semi-shade. When growing honeysuckle in patio containers, use soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
