This attractive evergreen shrub has a compact, rounded habit and eye-catching variegated foliage. Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Goshiki’ will slowly form a dense, rounded shrub that copes well with being trimmed into topiary shapes, screens and hedges. The glossy, holly-like foliage is decorated with cream and green and may show a hint of pink when young. From July to September, clusters of small, jasmine-scented white blooms will add additional interest. Bluish-black berries may follow the blooms, which will be adored by birds visiting the garden.
