Description
The Malus ‘Red Obelisk’ is a compact crab apple tree with faded pink scented flowers that appear in April. The foliage emerges as a purple-brown colour and later develops into a darker green colour. Deep red berries appear in late summer; if picked when ripe they can make a tasty crab apple jelly. Due to the upright growth habit of this tree, it can be planted in a smaller garden as a focal point.
