Description
Magnolia ‘Spectrum’ is a fine, later flowering example of the Magnolia group, with a upright form and large goblet-shaped flowers in spring. The flowers are pink-purple from base to tips outside and lighter pink on the inside.
This variety has an award of garden merit from the RHS indicating that it reliably produces a fine display. It is a sibling hybrid to ‘Galaxy’, with larger flowers and broader habit.
