Product Description
Basil Genovese is a classic and fragrant herb. Its broad leaves and intoxicating scent are what makes it such a popular addition to your favourite dishes. Will make a fabulous pesto. Harvest after they reach about 5-10cm tall. Take cuttings in the early morning, when the plants are at their juiciest. Sow indoors from March to April or directly outside from May to July.

Growing at a glance…
Sow in a location that gets plenty of sun or sits in partial shade. Once all danger of frost has passed, Basil can be planted outside from early-spring through mid-summer. Keep soil moist during germination. Once they’ve reached about 3-5cm, thin to around 15-20cm apart.Take cuttings of the leaves regularly to encourage new growth.
