A cross between an herbaceous peony and a tree peony, Itoh, or intersectional, peonies take the very best features of each variety to bring you a mounded foliage habit along with exceptionally large and generous blooms. New to market in 2025, blooms emerge in May and June with a voluminous and vibrant presence in borders, containers and vases.Loved by bees and other pollinators. Foliage is a zesty green when it emerges in April and then, in autumn, develops to a beautiful maroon before fading back underground over winter.
