- Purple or Copper Beech is a deciduous hedging plant with rich colouring for year-round interest
- Glorious purple and green tones in the spring and summer which turns copper and burgundy in autumn
- A fully hardy, fast growing plant which will reach a height of approx 5m but can easily be maintained at 1-5m
- Will grow well in any soil except heavy clay or windy sites – can be used as a windbreak
- Although Beech is deciduous, the leaves stay on throughout the winter until new foliage is ready to emerge in spring
