The Liquidambar ‘Thea’ is a fantastic new variety of Liquidambar that has been introduced from the Netherlands. This tree is the perfect choice for larger gardens and is best loved for its outstanding autumn leaf colour: the star-shaped leaves are a healthy mid-green colour in spring and summer, but come autumn they dazzle with a highly distinctive deep purple colour. This deciduous broad-leaved tree will grow to have a pyramidal habit when mature and it can become a real focal point in a large garden.
