‘Dutch Purple’ is a wonderful Crocus, that is ready to bloom from February until April. It generates an abundance of bright purple flowers, that each feature tango-coloured sepals. They form in neat clumps and look stunning in rockeries and alpine themed landscapes. Happy to progress in direct sunlight, be sure to add into containers, borders and woodland gardens also. Watch them thrive to a height of 10cm, along with a spread of 5cm.
Growing Information
Grow crocus in any well drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Spring flowering crocus bulbs should be planted during the autumn, in large clumps at a depth of 10cm (4″) and at a distance of 7cm (3″) apart. Alternatively grow them in containers or naturalised in grass.
