Dwarf, compact plants bearing large crested flowers of soft orange and maroon. Easy to grow, extremely popular bushy, weather-tolerant plants for beds, borders and containers. HHA – Half hardy annual. Height 20-25cm (8-10″).

Sow February-March under glass in gentle heat. Can be sown direct outdoors in April-May for flowers June-September.

Sow February-April in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F) using a good quality, moist compost. Cover seeds with 6mm (1?4″) sieved compost Germination 5-14 days. Transplant seedlings spaced 5cm (2″) apart in trays and grow on in good light. Acclimatise plants before planting 15-23cm (6-9″) apart in an open sunny position. Alternatively sow thinly during May direct outside into finely raked moist, weed free soil where the plants are to flower.
