Petunia ‘Surfinia’ is a popular flower, but how about a mixed collection which is easy to grow and lasts all summer. This variety is weather resistant and bursts with a mix of white, red, pink and purple trumpet-shaped blooms. Our pre-planted baskets make life easy, so what could be easier than a hanging basket which is already planted up?
Petunia ‘Surfinia’ are perfect for growing a cascade of colour which and their long trailing stems reach up to 90cm (35″). This kind is in fact the longest trailing stems of any Petunia, and they are also quick and vigorous, boasting an abundance of flowers.
Growing Information
When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
