Tell Me More…
Fuchsias were first introduced to the UK in the 17th century and flourished in Victorian times. Fuchsia ‘Bella Mariska’ is perfect for your pots and baskets, being an upright, compact, neat plant where the blooms are the star of the show. Dainty pink, pendulous buds open to reveal a graceful deep purple skirt, or corolla, underneath and literally ‘jump’ out of the mid-green foliage. You certainly will not miss them! The butterflies and bees don’t! Fuchsia ‘Bella Mariska’ effortlessly blooms from June to September, longer if the seasons are kind. Your plant will flourish in well-drained soil of any type, in either a fully or partly sunny location. Water regularly during the summer and feed every 2 weeks to help it achieve its optimum height and spread of 30cm. A tender perennial with an RHS rating of H2, normally grown as an annual.
