- Discovered in the Trompenburg botanical gardens, near Rotterdam, this Japanese maple dazzles with its attractive lobed foliage (which takes on a whole spectrum of colours throughout the course of the year)
- Starting out a burgundy colour in the spring, before becoming greener and then, finally, more orange in the autumn, ‘Trompenburg’ adds great ornamental value wherever it’s placed
- A relatively small tree, this acer will make a spectacular addition to any small or medium-sized garden as a feature tree
