Aster dumosus ‘Samoa’ has a floriferous, carefree habit that requires little maintenance all year. In autumn, incandescent purple-blue flowers with golden eyes cover the slender green foliage. When many perennials are past their prime, this vibrant, hardy plant adds a welcome splash of colour to herbaceous borders. It’s a great choice for wildlife gardens because its nectar-rich blooms will attract pollinating insects. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 40cm (16″)
