‘Jetstream’ is a fabulous Hydrangea, that blooms from May until August. It produces an abundance of panicle filled cream flowers, that later transform to a deep shade of pink as summer comes to an end. Perfect for providing year-round interest, watch its bushy mound of foliage progress from a fresh green to a fiery orange! Ideal for growing as a stand-alone specimen plant, incorporate into woodland, cut flower, wildlife and cottage themed landscapes. Your hardy shrub will enjoy developing in dappled shade and will progress to a superb height of 150cm and spread to around 120cm.
Growing Information
Hydrangea quercifolia prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively plant hydrangea quercifolia in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.
