Robinia’s are beautiful trees with leaves made up of round leaflets. This variety produces pink-purple, nicely scented flowers which hang from the branches early in the summer. This tree is a really gorgeous sight with its elegant foliage and cascades of summer blooms; it makes the perfect focal point in a garden.
This is an incredibly versatile plant which can grow in any soil type that is moist and well-drained. It can also be grown in either exposed or sheltered conditions and should be kept in full sun for the best blooms but will tolerate light shade. This is a drought resistant tree so don’t panic if you miss some waterings.
