Description
Ilex aquafolium ‘Ferox Argentea’ has an effective combination of deep purple twigs spiny green glossy leaves with a creamy white margin. This silver hedgehog holly can be planted as a specimen shrub or used to create a dense, prickly evergreen hedge, which retains its the bright variegation even in the shade. Ilex Ferox Argentea is also a self fertile variety of Ilex. Produces glossy red berries that are retained into winter.
