Sowing Information
Sow the seed thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed free soil 6mm (4″) deep during June or July, raking in lightly. (Germination 10-14 days). As the seedlings develop, thin in stages to achieve a final spacing of 15cm (6″). Use spare plants to fill any gaps in the rows. Transplant the young plants to where they are to flower in the autumn, leaving 30cm (12″) between them. Produces single or double flowers.
