Tell Me More…
Pelargonium Corriente are one of the best trailing geraniums for summer baskets and containers. They offer decadent semi-double blooms which are held above glossy, ivy-leaved, evergreen foliage which has an almost succulent feel to it and helps plants to be drought tolerant. Pelargonium peltatum ‘Corriente Lulu’ is long flowering, beauty with foliage held from April to October, quickly followed by rich, cherry-pink flowers for an exquisite display from May to October. Even better plants are semi-trailing and will generously spill over the edges of your borders, baskets, and containers by up to 50cm. Pelargoniums are amazingly drought tolerant once a good root structure has been established. They prefer a site with well-drained soil (of any type) which benefits from either full sun or partial shade. Pelargonium peltatum ‘Corriente Lulu’ has a height and spread of approximately 35cm. As tender perennials, Pelargonium Corriente are not frost hardy. These wonderful plants can, however, be overwintered in a greenhouse or conservatory then reinvigorated in spring for the following season.
