Description
- A beautifully well shaped English Hawthorn tree which explodes in a stunning floral display in spring when its branches are covered in clusters of double, pink blossoms, contrasting with dark green, glossy foliage
- Small red haws appear in autumn, much to the delight of the birds, and the leaves turn to warm shades of orange, yellow and bronze
- A hardy, low maintenance deciduous tree which will thrive in even coastal, exposed, polluted or damp sites
- Grows to 4-8m tall and can be pruned to fit even the smallest gardens. Double Pink looks especially lovely as a specimen tree in a cottage garden and can even be used as hedging
- Beneficial to a range of wildlife including bees and other pollinating insects, birds and small mammals
- RHS Award of Garden Merit winner
- Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching. This formative pruning can involve cutting the main leader, if the expert tree growers decide this will produce a better shaped tree. This can stop the tree becoming “leggy”, and promote stronger, bushier growth.MORE
