- Rosa arvensis is a rambling, dedicuous hedging plant which can be used as a single species hedge or combined with other roses for an attractive flowering hedge
- Covered in creamy white single flowers in summer, followed by shiny red, edible rose hips – one of the most attractive native hedge roses
- A fully hardy, fast growing hedge which will reach a height of approx 3m but can easily be maintained at 1-3m
- Field Rose will grow well in any well drained soil and most conditions including partial shade
- A low maintenance plant which is ideal for a country style mixed native hedge or wildlife garden
