Tell Me More…
Flowering long and hard from late spring right through until autumn, Calibrachoa ‘Can Can Double Red’ produces masses of vivid, scarlet, semi-double blooms, looking like a cloud of little red roses. Flowers are small and bell-shaped, held above simple green foliage. Perfect for hanging baskets, containers, and window boxes, the Can Can series has a loose yet neat appearance and a gentle trailing habit. Plants in this genus are ‘self-cleaning’, meaning they shed old flowers, negating the need to deadhead. Prefer well-draining soil in full sun. H&S: 30cm x 30cm. Half-hardy perennials, usually treated as annuals in the UK. Alternatively, container grown plants may be overwintered in a frost-free environment for continued perennial grown (a cool greenhouse or conservatory is ideal).
