Tell Me More…
A new introduction, Fuchsia ‘Bella Maria’ is a compact cutie which flowers her heart out for almost five months from June to October, and often longer. Perfect for gently trailing from your baskets, containers, and borders, where she will tempt passing bees and other pollinators in for a nectar-rich feast. Blooming around two weeks earlier than traditional fuchsia varieties, the semi-trailing and freely branching habit boasts an abundance of romantic, ballerina-like blooms of red sepals and tubes with contrasting bluish-purple corolla, truly stunning. Compact and upright, Fuchsia ‘Bella Maria’ prefers to be situated in a sunny or partially shaded spot, in any well-drained soil or compost, with a south, east or west facing aspect. Reaching a mature height and spread of 20-30cm, this tender annual has an RHS rating of H2.
