An exciting new variety, which recently joined the ‘Sweet Summer’ family. Phlox paniculata ‘Sweet Summer Dream’ is sure to brighten up a border, bring charisma to a container and create a wonderful welcome lining a pathway. A pollinator friendly beauty, which is often thought of as a backbone to perennial planting. Phlox are sought after by florists for their fantastic fragrance as well as the beautiful, rounded clusters of blooms they produce. ‘Sweet Summer Dream’ flowers from June to September, adding coral pink colour, along with a deeper magenta eye, to assist your garden’s transition between the seasons. Phlox paniculata ‘Sweet Summer Dream’ has verdant foliage from April to October which acts as the perfect foil to the colourful blooms above. Growing to a height of up to 80cm with a spread of around 60cm, plants will die back below ground over winter then return with undiminished verve and vigour the following spring. Plant in moist, well-drained soil of any kind and position in full sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing. A hardy, herbaceous perennial.
