Compact Petunia Surfinia ‘Deep Red’ will add rich colour to your containers, baskets and borders. Deep, scarlet blooms flower from June until October, cascading in abundance like treasured jewels. Renowned for its fantastic garden performance and outstanding weather tolerance, Petunia Surfinia ‘Deep Red’ is an easy going plant which is ideal for both novice and busy gardeners.Plant out in April or May, after the final frosts and provide with a well-drained, loam or sand based soil. Position in full sun or partial shade with a south or west facing aspect. Deadhead the blooms regularly to encourage more flowers and ensure containers are watered often, fed weekly during summer with dilute liquid fertiliser. A tender (H2), annual bedding plant which reaches a height and spread of 30cm and trails to around 40cm. Plants will die back once the first frosts arrive and should then be composted down.
